All that’s required is a desire to help, completion of a free 12-hour training course and about one to two hours of your week. Learners and Tutors generally meet once a week for 1 to 1.5 hours at a time at the Library Annex. Creek County Literacy Program conducts regular Tutor Training workshops throughout the year. After you complete your training, you will be able to start tutoring a Learner in our Youth Literacy Program.

Creek County Literacy Program provides Volunteers and Learners with free materials and support as you work. The books we provide have excellent Teachers Manuals that take you step by step through each lesson.

In addition to Tutoring, there are many ways you can volunteer your time to help Creek County Literacy Program accomplish its Mission. For more information about volunteering, call us at 918-224-9647.
