Ghosts and Goblins get a Free Book as a Treat at The Library Annex this Halloween – But no Tricks, Please!
Hey Parents – Be sure to take your ghosts and goblins to The Library Annex on October 31st. All costumed kids will receive a FREE Halloween book and candy!
“Staff will be on hand to pass out FREE Halloween books and candy to costumed kids on Halloween through 5pm at our office,” shared Melissa Struttmann, Executive Director for Creek County Literacy Program. CCLP is located at 15 North Poplar Street in Sapulpa.
17% of adults in Creek County 18 years or older do not have a high school diploma, and 4% of adults in Creek County 18 years or older do not have a 9th grade education. More than 400,000 Oklahoma adults are functionally illiterate. The Mission of the Creek County Literacy Program is to encourage, educate and equip aspiring readers to overcome the barriers of illiteracy.
